Who says parent life can’t look like a luxurious lounge? My sister’s family is growing, so I stepped in with @ashleyofficial to reclaim their living room from a sea of baby stuff. The star of the show is the modular Whitehaven sofa in Sable Velvet.

Spring is officially here, so let’s test out these @Veluxusa Skylight Systems in my cottage. When I designed this space, I was adamant about including skylights to highlight the kitchenette. There’s nothing quite like the way natural light from above makes every color and texture truly pop. It completely transforms the mood of the room. I love that I can vent the house to let in the fresh air and the sound of birds chirping while I work. It’s such a boost for my well-being. They’re solar-powered so no wiring is needed, but don’t forget to toggle that power button on during install so you can use the remote or app. And the built-in rain sensors mean I never have to worry about a surprise downpour. Adding VELUX “Fresh Air” Skylight Systems was easily one of the best investments I made for this home. If you have a dark room that needs a little soul, I can’t recommend them enough!
