Who else has checked theirs ? 🤗

Now I’d love for @lloyds.bank to also do one for me 🤭

How I landed a job offer before I graduation day.

1️⃣ I chose my Master’s programme intentionally
I chose something relevant, that I enjoyed, and that had skills for. I knew I could always learn extra technical skills through bootcamps or online courses without my grades being at risk.
And I understood early that UK employers care more about skills and experience than the degree alone.

2️⃣ I built real relationships with my lecturers and one became an unofficial mentor, introducing me to people hiring, referring me for roles, helping me prep for interviews, and even coaching me through side projects.

3️⃣ I networked intentionally on LinkedIn
I searched for people in the UK already doing my dream roles in dream organisations. I sent connection requests, introduced myself in DMs, and asked for virtual coffee chats. Those conversations helped me understand:
– what roles actually existed
– how people got there
– what skills mattered
– and how to position myself

4️⃣ Whenever I applied or interviewed, I tried to speak to someone in a similar role or the same organisation. It’s one of the most underrated career hacks.

5️⃣ I doubled down once coursework ended and dissertation started. I went all in on job applications and interviews

If you’re a Master’s student or recent graduate and you’re wondering “how do I actually do this for myself?” — this is exactly why I created From Master’s to Hired, happening in early 2026.

It’s a live webinar where I’ll break down the formulas and strategies me and others have used.

Comment “HIRED” and I’ll send you the link to join the waitlist for the class.
Cheers to becoming more of her in 2026 and beyond 🥂
