This is how much I made this year as a small creator who occasionally sells handmade items - while working a 30-hour week.

I started making content and selling my work around three years ago, alongside what’s pretty much a near full-time job.

Most of this income came from:
YouTube AdSense, Etsy, a few craft workshops and Christmas markets.

I’d love to have more time for this, but fitting it around work isn’t always easy.
On top of that, my boyfriend and I have also started a small art school (a totally separate thing), so time to film tutorials, edit videos, and create patterns can be limited.

That said - when I do get the time, I really use it.

So in total this year:
YouTube: £498.33
Etsy: £214.06
Workshops: £292.96
Markets: £560

Total: £1,565.35

I wanted to share this because I think it’s quite realistic.

Online, you often see people selling out at markets, Etsy shops blowing up and sponsored posts everywhere.

That hasn’t really been my experience. I’ve been kindly gifted a few items from one brand, but overall, there haven’t been many collaborations and some weren’t quite the right fit.

I know some creators make more than this. I also know some make less.

If that’s you, keep going. There’s so much talent out there, and it really does take time.

If you’d like to support my work, that genuinely means a lot 🤍

My aim is to inspire, educate, and entertain (and occasionally jump on a trending sound).

I’m also trying to do more in-person things. I'm based in Bath / Wiltshire - follow along if you’d like to see what I’m up to.

Plus, I'm always open to collaborations that genuinely align with what I do. I love trying new products and sharing things I actually use and enjoy.

This year has been amazing and I'm so proud of myself for putting myself out there with markets and workshops and I can't wait for what 2026 brings! 🫶

Happy New Year! 🥳
