The weirdest part is that 3 out of my 5 kids have now crossed over into this bigger little kid stage. Half of my kids are through those sweet 1-4 years and into the next chapter that is also just as sweet, but in different ways! In the beginning it feels like it will be an eternity before you have kids going off to elementary school, yet here we are! Age five really is a magic middle where they explore the world and still check in to see that you’re there. This is when the conversations get deeper, they point out funny observations, and you see their minds turning while they question how things work. You really start seeing their personality in full color. And they start to join in on your world too, wanting to help and be apart of things not just because you have to take care of them but because they want to participate. This is the age they’ll actually remember. Birthdays, traditions, little moments with you, this is where the nostalgia we have felt for years is finally being built for them too. ❤️🥹
Another day, another Facebook marketplace find from @haroldearlsiv 😂 honestly, he crushed it with this one! I’ve been asking for a longer table since our family has grown so much and this is not only beautiful, but of course a great bargain! What will he bring home next? Stay tuned…
Might be why my chest pain got worse after my rib got knocked out of place… 🤦🏼‍♀️ Filmed this before I checked myself into the ER obviously! I’ll be taking it easy for a few days until the muscle strain goes away, but back at it soon because I gotta keep up with these kiddos!
When you’re a parent to little kids the bathroom is basically a revolving door! 🙃But now that my kids are getting older, suddenly privacy is a very big deal in this house 😂 and honestly… fair. With so many of us, I’ve been trying to find little ways to create more respect for each other’s space (and fewer awkward walk-ins 🫣). This simple switch has made SUCH a difference and I only wish I would have found it sooner! The red/green indicator makes it so easy for everyone to know if the bathroom is already occupied or if it’s free for use! Comment “link” and I’ll send it to you 🤍
