Yuletide at Tatton park is exactly our vibe – it feels like a magical mix of a secret garden festival and a trip to Narnia
There’s also:
🍕 Food trucks in the courtyard for pizza, crepes, burgers, jacket potatoes and lots more options
🔥 And marshmallows you can roast (£1 each inside the trail)
Our tip is to get to each performance around 10 minutes early, you’ll get good spot for all the shows like the fire juggling and storytelling (you’ll get a map and timetable for the main activities when you arrive)

🎭 There’s lots of free activities included – we really enjoyed the ‘Claus VS Frost Gameshow’ but there’s 6 other shows for families to try out
💦 Plus, guests have unlimited access to the swimming pools and all the playgrounds
🧁 And there’s extra activities like the cupcake decorating, Frozen ballet school and Polar Express Adventure that you can choose to add on
Optional extras for guests or day visitors:
🎅 Santa’s Grotto Experience – this is the light trail, where you also get 2 photos with Santa and a cuddly Rudolph teddy at the end
🦌 Reindeer feeding – this is at the on-site zoo, Wild Discovery. Worth keeping in mind that you need to pay for zoo entry, and then pay £8 for the tub of reindeer food so this is essentially it’s own separate activity
👸 Cinderella Pantomime – this is a proper old school panto that you can book seperately
We stayed in one of the 4-berth Pine Lodges this time but we’ve also tried the cottages and really enjoyed both stays
