Some crazy facts and stories I found out during the Titanic Experience in Titanic Belfast:

1. Did you know that Titanic Belfast is located on the actual slipway where the ship was built?

2. When Titanic called for help, there was one ship estimated to be less than 14 Miles away. The SS Californian failed to respond because their wireless radio was turned off for the night and the captain mistook the flares for non-emergency signals...😱

3. The most valuable item taken from the Titanic is the violin that belonged to Wallace Hartley, the band leader which he famously played on the boat deck to keep passengers calm as the ship sank. The violin was discovered days later - still strapped to his recovered body.

Titanic Belfast is a must visit when in the city, even if you're not a huge fan like me. 😊

This is the most upcoming place in Spain, and it's not Mallorca or Ibiza.

Jávea, or as the locals say Xàbia, is located on Spain's mainland at just a 2-hour ferry ride from Ibiza.

Even though it's a little high end in terms of restaurants and accommodations, it's not a place for parties. Jávea is family friendly, and has so many options.

Saw these washed up at a beach in Spain, and they looked so pretty so yes, I touched them

Luckily they were not dangerous, but they could have been! No, these are actually Velella or By-The-Wind-Sailor. They basically catch the wind and this moves them across the ocean surface.

They are often mistaken for Portuguese man o' war (very painfull), but these are "brighter blue".

Note: they are not known to be dangerous to humans. However, it's wise to just look and not touch any living Velella that you come across.

We booked this Giant’s Causeway Clifftop Walking Tour which took us about 2,5 hours.

But did you know you can also drive it? We drove along the Causeway Coastal Route from Portrush all the way to Carnlough. On your way you will pass waterfalls, castles, incredible cliffsides, lush green meadows, and ancient rock formations.

A must do when you visit the coast of Northern Ireland!
