Whenever I feel in the grip of denser energies, heavy emotions either my own, or something I’ve picked up along the way - I find a quiet spot in nature (if I can), and I do a visualisation meditation to release it - I imagine an energetic cord running from the base of my spine connecting me deep into the centre of the earth; it is a grounding cord that allows the excess energy to simply flow away from me. I send love and gratitude down the connection too, because the earth receives what heaviness I send down with no judgement and sends only wisdom and unconditional love back, and for the gift of that, I am always profoundly grateful.
We are energetic beings, our bodies are of this earth, we are not apart from her and when we pause long enough to bring our awareness to this connection, our life-force is always re-energised. ✨💫🌿 Earth magic 💚

There was enough daylight left once the days efforts were done, to come down to the stormy sea, throw pebbles into the waves. Each one representing a wish, or an old story to be released. I didn’t throw in all the pebbles I picked up, some, cold though they were, I put in my pocket to take home, because in them I saw something undefinable and special, worth holding on to.
